Undersea Adventures of Captain Nemo”
was a television series developed by Al Guest and Jean Mathieson in 1974.
Produced by Rainbow Animation Limited, these five-minute episodes were featured
in the “Captain Kangaroo” television
series. The show portrayed Jules Verne’s character from Twenty Thousand
Leagues Under the Sea as Captain “Marc” Nemo, a blonde and fit scientist in
oceanic research. In this rendition, Captain Nemo battled evil doers and
thwarted their plots of world domination while also conveying messages about
